Conocidos comunmente como los Beatles australianos, The Easybeats, en efecto fue una banda de Australia pero cuyos integrantes provenían de europa. Tuvo como sus integrantes a: Steve Wright, Snowy Fleet, George Young, Harry Vanda y Dick Diamone.

The Allisons

Haciendo una pausa en la difusión de links de descarga de las discografías de The Kinks y The Who; navegando por ahi en la red quise compartir algo de este duo que me llamó la atención.
The Allisons fue un duo de Pop Inglés compuesto por Bob Day y John Alford.
Se marquetearon utilizando ambos el apellido Allison a manera de hermanos.
The Allison, llegaron a tener tal relevancia que representaron al Reino Unido en 1961 en el Eurovision Song Contest, con la canción Are You Sure, con dicha canción quedaron en segundo lugar en el ya mencionado concurso.
Are You Sure vendió cerca de un millón de copias, las cuales le valieron un Disco de Oro; por supuesto que desde ahí vino una seguidilla de Hits, asi como Lessons in love.
Aqui les dejo con el momento en el que concursaron en el Eurovision Song Contest 1961.
